so i've obviously been a terrible deviant lately.

because i dropped my morning classes at school (for personal reasons)

i have yet to pick up my last couple of prints from the school darkroom, i should actually do that soon.

yeah.. so thats about it really.. i've just been a lazy jerk..

so lately in comm-tech, me and sjeli have been taking advantage of our darkroom.

we learned how to develop black and white prints, and have been having a ball all week playing with exposures and the like..

so expect a couple deviations this week (i didn't catch my teacher fast enough to pick them up after school yesterday) i'm really impressed with them.. and i'd love to get my own darkroom setup.. which probably won't happen because i am terribly broke and still need to save for a new digital camera.. as much as i'm falling inlove with film.. i just need a digital to make my life a little easier for some things..


other then that, life has been pretty boring lately.. i've gotten stood up for a couple dates.. so i've been pretty down lately.
oh well. march break is next week.. so i'll get some more black and white film and maybe go out to hiawatha or the windmills..

so i brought my camera to futureshop today to see if they could fix it..

apparently when i dropped it i broke something inside the lens and it's gonna cost me 150$+, to replace it... which isn't worth it because the camera is only worth 250$ish anyways..

so.. they sent it out to see if canon would fix it (they won't because it's my fault it broke. but no harm trying) so i have no camera for 4-6 weeks until it gets to canon.. and then however long after i find out if they'll fix it until i buy a new one.

i'm really upset because it's just starting to get nice out.. the weather is beautiful and i had a couple shoots planned... that i refuse to do with film because it'll cost me an arm and a leg to do..

ugh. well i guess i needed to upgrade anyways..

so last night i was playing around with some of the color settings on my digital camera in the kitchen.. when the unthinkable happened... i dropped it.. hard.. while it was on/lens was out..

now the lens doesn't shut fully.. and it doesn't focus.. AND i think my warranty is expired.

needless to say.. i'm really upset.. it wasn't much of a digital, but it was all i had..

i've been working alot more with film lately.. but i just don't have the money to take as much pictures as i'd like to..


so.. i guess it's time to start saving what little money i'm getting for a camera..
and if i'm getting a new one i might as well get a nicer one.. so it's gonna take awhile..


so i guess that means for the next little while all i'll be posting is film and (hopefully) some writing..

this is not a good day

lately i've been pretty busy, with school and musical theater and whatnot.

i need some B&W film.. and a new digital camera.. my handheld kills me inside every time i try to take nice pictures..

i've been planning some basic shoots with friends of mine.. so hopefully i can get back out there and start being more consistent with my updates.


also lately i've been going through some yucky stressful personal stuff concerning my schooling and.. well just personal things.
i've been doing a lot better & getting stuff done. so yeah.

i think that's about it for updates.
